I am a wife and mother of five who is a licensed homebirth midwife, certified doula, certified childbirth educator, and certified breastfeeding counselor. I have been attending births since 1995. Not only was I born in Arizona, I am a fifth generation Arizonian who is honored to be helping families have a better birth experience, if not directly, then through those I have trained as doulas and childbirth educators.

    While my home and office are in Mesa, I travel all over the valley (and surrounding areas).

I am a wife and mother to three amazing children! In each of their births are many reasons why I chose to become a Doula. I believe in a woman's ability to birth how, when and where they want to and I am here to help you preserve your birthing experiences. I am a Certified Doula and Childbirth Educator and I have experience with: Hosptial birth, home birth, unmedicated birth, medicated birth, adoptive situations, young mothers, first time mothers and I hold a special place for those VBAC moms because I was a VBAC mom myself.My services include, but not limited to, 2-3 prenatal appointments, on-call two weeks before and after your due date and phone support anytime. I charge $500 for my Doula fees and am willing to barter on a case by case bases. I give a very generous discount for those who take my childbirth classes. I am willing to work Valley Wide and in surrounding areas.

I've had five pregnancies and know both the joys and sorrows of birth. I helped many friends, their friends & family thought-out 20 plus. I believe supporting the woman in her choices for childbirth. I travel all over the valley and surrounding areas. I have supported families with births at home, hospital, or birth center with a midwife or Dr. I enjoy supporting women in birth and believe in "Giving Support Today For A Better Birth Tomorrow." Communication is of utmost importance. I offer patience, trust, comfort, compassion, empowerment, education, physical, and emotional support. Doula Fee - $600. Will volunteer/barter on a case by case basis.

I have given birth to three amazing people who make my life very interesting. My experiences created a yearning to help other women have rewarding births filled with respect, joy and a sense of amazement at the act of bringing another being into existence. I've had a variety of birth experiences and appreciate the benefits of natural childbirth, and respect women who choose a medicated birth. I have walked both paths at different times in my life. All of my experiences have been amazing, and I've learned about myself and the birth process through each one.

Every woman is capable of birth, and each woman knows what she needs to have the experience she wants. I can support women in any setting of their choice. I can work with Mom & Dad or be Mom's sole support at her birth. I have a special place in my heart for every Mom. I am a wife of 23 years and mother to four wonderful teenagers/young adults. I have enjoyed homeschooling each of them.

As a DONA trained postpartum doula, I consider it a joy and priveledge to come alongside parents during the postpartum period, offering practical help, emotional support and education about newborn care. I adjust my services according to the needs and desires of each family. I believe that by nurturing the whole family during the postpartum period I am enabling parents to better nurture their newborns.

Also trained as a birth doula through Nurturing Hearts, I am pleased to offer complete doula care for pregnancy, labor, birth and the postpartum period.
